Hey Mon, We're set up in Trinidad!!
No not, THAT Trinidad, the Northern California Coastal one at The Emerald Forest Cabins and RV park. A very nice place with good cable TV and internet. The satellite TV won't work because of all the trees, but satellite radio comes in OK.
A goodly amount of rain in the last 2 days, but it is supposed to clear up at the end of the week.
We saw loads of painted up Victorian houses in Eureka, along with many murals on buildings.
There is an Indian casino just up the road from us. Great views of the ocean from the roads in the city and Patricks Point Drive (which the park is on).

Sounds like you are very close to the Redwoods National Park on the coast just north of Eureka. That is a very beautiful area, don't miss the elk.

Bill, hope you and Deborah have a great time there. We love the place. Kind of like forest camping with hook-ups. Love the casino also. They have some good perks with their players club cards, especially if you have a birthday or Anniversary. Don't miss the drive up to Prairie Creek park to see the elk, and follow Davidson Road to Gold Bluff Beach. (about 6 miles of twisty gravel road, but worth the drive) We used to camp there several times a year when we had the class C. Beautiful beach and further down the road is Fern canyon, of Star Wars movie fame.
Have a great trip!
