Yes, there is a South Texas Chapter and that is where you should be placed, unless you requested otherwise. Trace

Possum51, Trace has it exactly right, we have a north and south Texas chapters. We have a north Texas chapter rally scheduled for March 27-29 at the Coffee Creek RV Park in Santo TX near Mineral Wells. There is a Louisiana chapter rally the weekend before in Kinder at the Coushatta Casino if you can make that one. We'd love to meet you at either or both.

As Jayc stated please join us down the road in kinder for our spring rally in La. It looks to be a good time with good attendance. Hope to see Ya there.

Pat you signed up for the Boerne rally and we can discuss it more there but the real bottom line is once you are a HOC member you belong to all the chapters as Travel Tiger pointed out. I am the South Texas Chapter leader and Houston in in my area of responsibility so i will typically try to keep up with you; however we once had a member from New Mexico that claimed S. Texas as their home chapter. It is your choice.

Hi all - we are new owners (North Trail) and we live in Midlothian (30 miles south of Dallas) but we are headed to Rockport for holiday time - appreciate any/all recommendations for parks to enjoy and restaurants and similar - thanks so much

There are lots of RV parks in Rockport. HERE is a link to the RV Park Reviews for the area. Keep an eye out here for Bob Sims who will be posting get-togethers for the area for meals during the winter season.

It's not too late to sign up for the South Texas rally in Ingram TX next weekend. When you return home to Midlothian, remember that the rally season will start in March with the kick-off rally for the new West Texas chapter rally in Quanah TX March 11-16th.

Thanks for the link - I called several of them and we were able to get one of the last spots at the Palms Harbor Park - it was rated a "10" - and so far every time we have talk to them, they are just as nice as they can be!! Looking forward to it - and someone has planned a covered dish meal for Christmas day - should be fun - we are getting excited!!!
