Multi colored LED light strip in the awning.

My factory white LED light strip went out on me a few weeks ago. So I decided to replace it with the multi color LED lights to match my welcome sign and my under belly lights. I had to figure out where to mount the 12V LED control module, and found that it will just barely fit in the channel right above the shock mount. (I'll add the pictures soon) Now I have 3 separate control modules, soon to be 4 when I do the slide awning. The 1 remote will control all 4 modules to change colors, brighten & dim, and put them in motion mode. Now I need to replace all of the belly light strips as they are falling off in places probably do to all of the truck washes.

Pictures coming soon

What brand of LED Light Strip did you use that will mount in the awning channel?

"Project LM365" Anniversary

May 1st 2015 was the day we picked it up. And we have kept a log of all of our trips and estimated miles traveled. We finally found time to updat that trip log. Year to date we've had her 3 years and 1 month - 1130 days out of that time we've been in the RV or on the road (441 days) that's 79 camping trips and logged (23642 miles) + add in the 2300 mile that she traveled out from the factory and she has (25942 estimated miles).
I did the Disc brakes at 10k and had to replace the pads about 12000 miles later. LOVE the disc brakes!!!!
Now you are up to date :)

I did a really cool up grade on my 7-way box today. I installed a Dusk to dawn photo sensor into my light switch. Now when the light switch is on the lights will come on at night and go off in the morning.
DIY for most of you. This was really easy to install so the rest of you that have my boxes installed can do the upgrade yourself.

With this sensor installed on all my 7-way boxes all of the rigs at the heartland Rally's will automatically light up at night. No more turning them on and off each day. One step closer to that App to turn them all on.

This is the second sensor I tried. The first one was a POS and didn't work. This one worked perfect.

This is the first try and it was junk. Then after reading all of the reviews on Amazon I guess it seems to be on about 90% of them. It sure fit in my Box nicely.
