I did a nice upgrade to the flag pole too.
I drilled and installed a pin in the bottom to hold it on the base when you carry it. I also added a nice grab handle to lift and carry it. Both of these small mods made a huge difference in dealing with moving this thing around.

Well somehow this just came to me this morning.
For those of you with Landmark 365 with the pull out drawers. Lots of you already have my wooden block idea in place. But for those of you that don't here is a super easy DIY to make your own.
I used a serrated bread knife (don't tell Rhonda) to cut down a wine cork in the shape needed.
Super simple super easy.

I also did the new brake pads and repacked all of the wheel bearings. While I had the tires off replaced 1 tire and balanced all 4. Replacing that 1 tire is what started this all. That's when I found out how bad my brake pads were. All of the wheel bearings looked really good, I did have a little bit of discoloration of the grease from heat on the left rear. But not bad at all.
As you can see in the pictures I had just done my new Dexter HD shackle and equalizer kit that I won at the Jackson CA. rally last year. I think we are about ready to hit the road again. :)

The tire I replaced had a flat spot on it and was getting worse on every trip.

It's sure is nice to be able to work on it right on the side of my house. I even have shade.

We were looking at new Rigs with some friends last week and I noticed this 80amp circuit breaker in this 2018 Big horn. They did up the cable size to what looks to be 1/0 (AWG) I think.

Picture in a sec.

Jerrod: Is that one an 'auto reset' model. I don't see a 'switch' handle on it like the ones others have used earlier in the posts.

Yes auto reset. That is what I'm using now also.
I had a cheaper manual reset and it kept tripping. Replaced it with a good quality auto reset and haven't had a bit of problems sence. :)

Jerrod: Thanks. My unit won't bring any of the landing / leveling gear up without multiple stops. Dealer has looked at it - did the parallel 50 amp setup which I'd swear made things worse. Between that and the rear AC I'm about to give up on the unit. Frustrating that they can't fix it.

Oh, coach is back at the dealers - went to put power to it once I got it home on Saturday and they had melted part of the male plug - had about a half inch of melted rubber right above the common 'plug' and the common was all burned and had rubber on it. Found it when I plugged it into my 50 amp surge guard and it wouldn't go in all the way. Being dumb (and VERY LUCKY) I stuck my little pinky in to measure the distance. Lucky if the word - the surge guard hadn't finished it 2.5 minute startup.

Word to the group - don't try to rush stuff - stupid mistakes can occur.

Regardless, always look forward to your mods/ posts and your friendly responses. Best wishes to you and yours.

You might find the Hydraulic Slide Starts and Stops user guide helpful. It also applies to landing gear starts and stops.

Ron - that looks to be a manual reset breaker - Bussman CB184F-80.

I just installed an auto-reset model for a friend - Bussman CB181F-80.

Link to CB181F-80 on Amazon (disregard the photo at the Amazon link as they use a photo of a 150 amp model)

Here's what I installed:

Jarrod - are you still using motion detector switches for your interior lighting (pic #2), or have you decided to use magnetic switches instead? (pic #1)? Just wondering what your couple of years of road experience now tells you?

What is the reason for the 80-amp breaker upgrade? I was talking with Chuck Hale about it at the Pueblo rally. My wife was asking why it needed to be changed and I couldn't remember the reason several people had done it!

A lot of us are having issus with the hydraulic system 50amp breaker tripping several times while trying to put the slides in and out or run the Level-up. Some times a new 50 amp with solve it for a while. A new good quality 80amp auto reset breaker will solve it forever.
