converting spring clip to magnetic clip

I want to know if there is a "conversion" kit to swap out the basement door on the passenger side to a magnetic hold open type or style. Is there an "approved" installation process for this? I see newer units that have them, but I am not sure if there is something behind the wall panel that allows this

There's nothing placed in the wall or door that allows the magnetic catch to be installed. It's merely screw onto the door and the wall. You should be able to order a set of these plastic coated magnetic catches from Heartland Customer Service (877-262-8032). Or Amazon - $17.26 delivered. Or eBay - $18.440 delivered. Or Camping World - $11.42 + shipping.
