Algonac State Park

Picture taken from our campsite on the St. Clair River, Algonac State Park, Algonac, MI. Both great lake and ocean going freighters use the river to transition from Lake Huron to ports west. Freighters heading up river are heading to Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, Lake Superior or the St. Lawrence Seaway to get to the Atlantic Ocean. The land behind the freighter is Canada.

That is an awesome place to camp. Haven't been there in a few years but need to return. Have friends and members that go every year. We had an SOB at a couple of our rallies who were the camp hosts there in September.
