We just bought an Oakmont 345RS and I will be spending some time here asking about inverters, converters, hydraulic levelers, what runs on batteries etc etc etc. But for now, here it is:

That isn't actually that far from us either. What is that highway 20 like through the mountains?

We drove from Calgary to Kelowna, down to Omak and then over 20 a few years ago, beautiful road, BUT we were not towing at the time. Maybe others have been over 20 while towing and can weigh-in with better information.

Congratulations welcome to your new family. You picked the right people to hang with. There are a lot of smart RV'ers on here that will definitely help you out with all of your questions. I have found its better to ask 1 or 2 question at a time instead of a big list of them. You'll get more thorough answers that way.
