I have a 2016 22fbs and its been sitting for a month with electricity plugged in. I walked by the camper and heard a humming noise and went to the breaker panel and started tripping some breakers to find where it was coming from. tripped one labeled ( Gen) and it stopped ! what is this this (Gen) and why would it be making this noise when the camper is not in use ?

A guess is it is the circuit for your converter and the noise you hear could be the 60 hertz hum.

Its odd they would label the 12 converter as the GEN, but who knows? So if that is really what it was, and you turned it off. You are now running off the battery for all 12 volt items. Take VOM, and see if the battery voltage changes when you cycle that AC breaker to make sure that is what is being turned on and off.

Yeah, you should have 13.3V or a bit more with that switch on. Switch off your "Gen" switch and then check voltage.

A further check then could be to load down the 12V system (lights, etc) and verify the voltage drop, then turn it back on.... verify voltage spiking back up.
