Holding tanks do not empty when level

Went to empty my black and gray tanks after 4 days of use. Nothing come out of any of the tanks. All tanks where 3/4 or more filled. Drove back home and setup an appointment at the dealer. They said all was good. Now out again and after 2 days and nothing. Drove home and empty at a station while shocked up and all went well. Why are the tanks not dumping st the rv sites when level?

Hi Kesther,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

If you have 6 point levelup, I'd guess maybe it needs to be calibrated. To check this, use the Auto-Level function. Then take a carpenter's level (the longer the better) and place it mid ships on the floor. Check front to rear and side-to-side.

If the carpenter's level shows that the levelup didn't actually level the trailer, it's easy to re-calibrate.

If you have the Lippert One Control System with touchscreen inside, use the attached instructions to re-calibrate.

You may want to invest in a couple of sewer hose accessories "just in case". First a clear elbow with backflusher fitting for running water back up the drain lines in case there are any clogs: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Valterra...6mvhXnkqfUuMR8u8RNZcp1uEgT9QQB4oaAvvJEALw_wcB

To make this backflush work you need a 3" temporary external valve : https://www.walmart.com/ip/VALTERRA-LLC-T58-Sewer-Waste-Valve-44-3-In/44164893 Most everybody has these after having your main black tank valve leak some, pulling off the cap on the sewer drain to dump, and getting all those 3" pipes volume of poopy blackwater rush out on the ground.
