Quiet AC replacement?

Has anyone replaced their AC units with the quieter version?? Curious if they're worth it and costs? Our AC unit is SO loud, We are thinking about just replacing the one in the master bedroom the other 2 don't matter as much.

I ordered & installed one last week in the living area. Haven't traveled and setup the unit as of yet - but unit seems to be much quieter setting in the driveway. Guess time will tell if it truly is quieter . . .

Our big horns dometic AC's were loud when running. Now in our landmark, the whisper quiet system, is indeed quieter. I am not sure if its actually the AC units that are quieter, or the fact they are ducted a lot differently thru the ceiling.

We installed the WackO Products A/C Silencer kit (Dometic) on our CY4007 in the main living area. We have used it several times since the install. Made a considerable difference as far as noise goes. You will loose the “quick cool” feature, but well worth the trade off in my opinion.
