Wondering if anyone else has had a toy hauler ramp door hinge barrel nut break. Just after opening the door a barrel nut on one of the hinge bolts broke. They are very difficult to find. Any experience in this would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the forum! Lowe's carries a few sizes or you might find one at a specialty store that sells fasteners. In GA, we a have a chain called Fastenal that sells bolts and such, they usually have hard-to-find items.
Thanks for the input. I was able to get through to the Heartland parts department and got a part number from Tracey. The nut is part number 0129293 and is $2.95 each plus shipping. I found a vendor online Mirage trailer parts that has them for $.35/ea but you have to buy package of 10.
I figure it can't hurt to have spares for $3.50 vice one for $2.95.
