Hi Folks, thanks in advance for the help. I am making a run to San Antonio Texas from Iowa to pick up a 2007 Cyclone 4012. Sorry I just couldn't swallow the pill for a new one. I will be picking it up on Monday Feb 13. It looks like they come with a tire that is "maybe a little suspect" and a...
Hello. I have a 2008 Cyclone 4012 triple slide. It is a PITA to control the slides. If I want to open all the slides, no problem, I press the button and out go the slides. However, if I am parked in front of my house and want to only open the curb side slide then I have to open up the...
Sure I love my Cyclone 4012, but I don't love Heartland and the way they have ignored all of the problems. Broken water pump (several times), water leak (has ruined our floor in the kitchen and living room). Many other problems but I'll stop here. As full timers I wish Heartland would take...
We want to upgrade our 15 inch wheels/tires to 16 inch wheels/tires. The 15 inch Load Range "D" Goodyear Marathons are not holding up for us. As a result, we would like to upgrade the wheels and tires to a 16 inch set with a higher load range.
What are the specifications regarding wheel/tire...
We had a blow out on our last trip and it damaged the wiring. It ended up pulling the 12v overhead light wire ALL the way out of the unit. Any Ideas on how to rerun it? I keep running into supports and am getting nowhere.
PS See Cyclone MODS to see our prevention for future problems for this.
We had a blowout and it ended up pulling the 12volt wire to the DS slide out overhead light ALL the way out! I have no pull line now. Any ideas on how to get a wire run for this on our 4012?
PS. See the post in Cyclone MODS for our rigid fix to prevent future problems.
We full time in our Cyclone and found the bed frame to be weak and lack support. When apart i found the 2x2 bowed, weak joints, and the bed rollers pulled from the frame. Time to re-engineer!
I took the original 2x2 cross support out and replaced it with 2 2x4's. With the removed 2x2 I added...
One item that needs attention is the ladders (or lack of) on our 4012. The main ladder to the upper loft above the garage has round tubes that "kill" our kids feet while climbing. The second would be a smaller ladder included with the bed option in the garage. Right now we use crates but a...
Well I am new here but not new to RVing. I have been travelling and RVing since I was a kid and picked up again after I got married. We have owned two RVs now, the first was a Pilgrim TT and the current one is a Legends 5er. We had been full-timing in it up until recently when we bought a few...
Does anyone know off hand the actual square footage is listed in the 2008 4012? I could figure it out on measurements, just not sure if the garage area is counted because of the two bunks that are in there?? Any help out there?
I just bought a Cyclone 4012 and there is a vent tube for the kitchen sink gray tank which runs up along side the refridgerator vents but it does not exit through the roof is this a factory mistake or is it not suppose to come up through the roof. There are three vents already on the roof. One...
Just bought a Cyclone 4012 and need to know what is the best way to hook up a roof mount satellite. Is there a splitter hidden in the roof/ceiling? I'm a newbie to the Heartland forum, been rving for 10yrs.
