These are in a 2015 4200 Cyclone Toy Hauler but likely apply to just about any RV.
Closet pole: When we added a reasonable selection of clothes to the pole it fell down! I added slightly larger screws to hold the end pieces and machine screws/jam nuts/ fender washers to the support brackets...
Our new Toyhauler 30RW is 18 days old (literally) and already one of the closet door latches has broken. Does anyone know of a metal or heavier duty replacement to the cheap plastic connectors that join the two pieces?:(
I will be installing a stronger rod on my BC tomorrow. I was at Home Depot, and found an 8 foot long strong rod and strong steel ends, and will be installing it tomorrow.
The rod and shelve is bending with all the load and I am sure a stronger rod will prevent all this bending and assure the...
First off, I realize the Cyclone was not made for full-timing which is what I'm doing. With that said, the original closet rod was not designed to hold a year's worth of clothing. I wondered how long it would last on our trip. (About 3 months.)
I replaced the broken original metal rod with a 1...
I am really afraid to put much in the closet floor for fear that if we hit the gas to fast that stuff will slide and break the mirror closet doors. I tend to put pillows and pack the closet so careful, but would love to know if I am over doing it?
Any ideas for safe packing of the closet floor?
We just bought a New 2009, 3500RL BC and I went to install our 2100 Splendide Washer/Dryer Unit in the W/D Prep area. I needed to remove one Door frame to make clearance for the Unit. There was 1/2" Missing. Then we realized that the upper part of the closet could be used to store our everyday...
Another mod I did was to add a light in the closet where the washer and dryer would normally go. It has always been a little dark when we get in there so I thought this would help and it did.

We just drove our new 2009 3600RE home to WI from AR, about a 600 mile trip. We did hit some pretty rough road in WI on I-39-90 near Milton. After we got all set up at hoem the wife opened the main closet door and said "oh my God". All our clothes were on the floor and the rod was bent at about...
There is no support on the rod, and when you drive it bends. Two of the Three supports have come out. The rod is plastic, and just can't hold any weight. It isn't like i have a lot on the rod. Anyone else having the same problem. I have a 09 Big Country. Why would they use a plastic...
We are having problems with our clothes falling off the rod...there is no end cap. Is there suppose to be an end cap? If not...has anyone else had this problem...and if so...what did you do. Thanks.
The mirrored closet door latches in the master bedroom are pretty funky. Wife broke the left hand latch. Where can I get a replacement? Also is there another type of latch available?
I have heard about a new type of latch for the mirrored sliding doors but can find no source or name. Has anyone replaced their old ones with this new type and if so, where were they purchased?
Thanks
Roger
