shower

I broke the soap dish in the shower on my 3600rl . does anybody know how to remove the rod that holds the soap dish so i can install the new one . i tried to remove the plastic end caps but thought i was going to break them . has anybody done this before.

I did a search but can't find an answer on this forum. Our shower recently has become very slow draining. We leave the gray tank valve open all the time when parked for extended periods. What is safe to use to unstop the drain? Could it just be a buildup of soap in the pipe?
