My Flexguard support has broken at both ends and it is too short to fasten at either end. Is there a fix for this ? I don't want to buy a new one to have it break also. It is a poor design and will not stand up to any wear and tear. Any help is much appreciated.

I read some post stating how the gear casing breaking on the landing gear electric motor. I took a look at mine and saw that the motor is loose and could bounce around braking the gear housing. I used a 2 3/8" pipe fence post clamp and a foot of 2" strap. (HomeDepot)
