120 VAC mid section outlets out

2015 Heartland Cyclone M4200 toyhauler mid section 120 outlets failure. Front bedroom outlets work, garage works. Front bathroom out, Kitchen out, entertainment out, big slide outlets not working. Slide moves in and out, microwave works, water heater works. Electric fireplace works. Power at main circuit breaker, all breakers reset. both legs on 50amp pedestal good. Replaced forward bathroom gfi's, basement gfi. Garage gfi still working did not replace. Reading these forums is there a distributor box or inverter possible failure?

Bathroom and kitchen both out suggests GFI problem to me. How are you determining outlet live or out? Small appliance or DVM? Do your GFI's have LED power on indicator lights?

look underneath the slide out for a electrical junction box, make sure wires are all intact to the j-box; remove cover look for loose connections. If you are uncomfortable working with 110vac, disconnect from shore power no generator running. Could also check for loose connections on the breakers by removing the panel box cover; I do this yearly just as pre-caution & I'm comfortable working with electricity.

I figured out that the kitchen gfi existed today via reading these forums and how the circuit is routed. Old style RV push-in wires in scotch pinch connection cutting into insulation. Installed new gfi in bathroom it has a green LED lit on it. Have to install New gfi in kitchen tomorrow, will see how it goes. Thanks for your input.

I'll pull the cover off that box tomorrow, i'll check voltages with my meter. Wasn't aware of the kitchen gfi location, but changing that tomorrow so maybe that will complete circuit, will let you know. thanks for the input.

I replaced all of my INSULATION DISPLACEMENT CONNECTOR (IDC RV assembly line) outlets with standard household wire-screw outlets. You have to also install boxes to do this properly. The IDC thin V metal connection does not instill good connector confidence in me versus a larger conductor area screw compressing stripped wire connection, even if they are UL code approved. I had an outlet where everything plugged into it appeared to work OK, until I plugged in a small electric space heater, and saw the pilot light quickly flashing.

Search "IDC connector" on the forum search for more discussions on this.

BTW, my old Bighorn has just 1 GFI outlet with the other parts of that protected branch daisy chained to its outlet terminals.

thank you for the input, I am pulling all these IDC's . something to keep me busy over the winter here. At least I can plug the fridge and tv/internet into the garage for now.

Had exactly the same issue in my 2017 Road Warrior. My issue was a loose connection in one of the bathroom outlets
Heartland uses very cheap "RV"outlets vs residential one that has secure connections

Turns out, after replacing all the GFI's , I had a green indicator on the bathroom GFI (the first one in the link) but no power output. So it was a bad new gfi in the box. New Gfi fixed it and all work now. Thanks for the support friends!!
