12v switch out.

Has anyone have real good way of removing these switches out of the panel without damaging the surface. I thought that the four clips would push down but don't, suggest a tool. I have a couple that have failed.

Today Thursday I spoke to Sigma Switches and suggested something like a butter knife to push down on the location lugs.

I usually remove the panel they are in and do it from the back side, otherwise I'll use a small pocketknife and loosen one side (one clip at a time and maintain pressure be pulling on the switch) Once one side is loosened it becomes easier to remove the other side of the switch.
