Sharp TV in Cyclone HD Version - Dead Remote
Did the apparently 'fatal' mistake of resetting tv (42" Sharp) to factory defaults last night. Had no sound over the TV (surround sound from stereo/DVD player worked). Also couldn't program new channels. Arrived at a new campground in Texas. only had a few channels out of the 50 - 60 they listed.
Went to Menu and couldn't get the EZ Channel programmer to work (little circle with crossbar in front of it). Checked all audio settings and all appeared ok. So thought I'd reset TV to factory setting. (last resort)
Did so, and whallah, have sound and can program channels (got'em all) and now, remote is dead. Have to use TV buttons for everything (how archaic, having to walk 6 - 8 feet,
) . Any idea how to resync Remote to TV????
