2016 Mallard M31 water heater trouble

Hi, i just purchased a used 2016 Mallard M31. Im trying to figure out the water heater. The electric heat switch is on and water in the tank. When i turn on the hot water tap its hot for about 3 seconds and then just warm for about 30 seconds then cold. I have located the valves behind the hot water tank but i am unsure of what should be opened and what closed. How can i get hot water for longer? If anyone can provide some advice please i would really appreciate it.

Hello Scott. And welcome to this awesome forum.
There should be three valves at your water heater. The center valve should be off and the other two on.
Be sure that the faucets in the shower are off and if there is an outside shower be sure those faucets are off as well.
