Is there a battery disconnect switch that completely disconnect the battery nor do I need to just disconnect the positive terminal so the battery doesn't drain?
You'll probably want to install a battery cutoff switch like this one. They come standard on the high-end trailers, but leaving them is one way manufacturers get to a lower price point.
If your going to disconnect a terminal be sure you do the neutral (-).
Sparks will fly and your wrench will get hot fast if it touches any metal attached to the frame while working on the positive (+) terminal.
