2022 M26 Hot Water Tank Plug Leaking

First weekend camping with our new 2022 Mallard M26 and the water pump cycles all the time because the plastic hot water tank plug leaks all the time.

Can I replace with a brass plug or will that cause more corrosion due to the 2 different type metals? I think I was told my tank was porcelain but I could be wrong.

The plastic plugs should work just fine. Wrap the threads generously with Teflon tape.

Mine has a female plug and you can't get your hands on the threads on the tank.

I'll try some pipe dope.

What brand/model of water heater do you have??

Not sure. All the brochures are in it at our seasonal spot. I'll have to look when I go back this weekend.
