2800RB Floor Squeak

I have a 2008 2800RB bumper pull. When I enter the camper and walk to the kitchen sink the floor squeaks. I thought it was the cabinet the sink is in being loose to the floor. I think it is the floor itself. How do you fix that. I can get under the sink. Do the floor joints runn lengthwise or are theyside to side....Clint

Clint, The joists in our 5th wheel run length wise, front to back. The only way I know to fix a squeak in a floor is to add a few more screws. In our Bighorn I finally removed the vinyl floor, put quite a few screws in the sheathing and replaced the vinyl with laminate flooring. If you don't have an enclosed underbelly in your trailer, you may be able to access the joists and sheathing from below and either shim it or get some glue in between the joist and sheathing where the squeak is.

I have an enclosed underbelly. I am going to find the floor joist and try some more screws under the sink cabinet. I will post my results...Clint
