2nd AC prep

I believe my SD3400QB has the 2nd ac prep. But I am curious how to know for sure? I would like to add at some point a 2nd unit in the bedroom with a heat pump. I know the camper is 50 amp. I assumed the wires would already be ran to the vent in the bedroom where the 2nd unit would be installed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi ncrzrbk,

The Sundance options list on the Heartlandrvs.com website shows 2nd A/C in the bedroom as an option, but to be sure, I'd suggest you call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030 with your VIN # in hand. They should be able to tell you.

You could also look in your breaker box. If there is a breaker for second A/C.....it is wired.

Was able to check today, there is a breaker for the 2nd ac. I assume then the wires are ran to the bedroom vent. Thanks for the help.

If you remove the four screws that hold the fan shroud on and drop it down you should be able to see a yellow Romex cable terminated in a plastic box.
That is the wire that will connect to your AC.
