The brochure says that it is a standard. Do these units come standard with 2 batteries and are they 6 volts?

It's a guess on my part but I think the compartment for the batteries has the capability of housing 2 batteries but the dealer is the one putting in a battery as part of the sales deal. He may even charge extra for it but most include it in their price. Two six volt batteries from a dealer would be a nice gift but you will have to negotiate that if you want six volt batteries. I think most dealers include a 24 or 27 series 12volt battery.

I agree that they come with two 12 volt batteries and the dealer installs. I asked and the dealer put two GC1 6 volt golf cart batteries in mine for no extra charge. Maybe they made enough money off the sale to cover or maybe just nice guys.

If I'm not mistaken the Big Horn comes with provisions for two batteries, one in the rt. front compartment (group 24) and one in the front compartment.Could put in a group 27 up front, although they say not to mix groups. The dealer supplys the battery so thats where the dealing starts. Good Luck JON
