3055RL Electrical trouble

Does anyone know why our plug over the kitchen sink just stopped working??
Kettle woked fine and 15 min. later no power.
Have checked GFI, plug it self, and breaker. All seem fine.
I don't have any power coming to the plug.
Is there a junction box in the kitchen area, I would think it would feed
the slide plug and kitchen plugs?? If there is one.
Elecrical is not my strong point.
Any help or suggestions.
Thanks.

If your kitchen is on a slide there is a junction box under the slide (metal silver cover) . Be sure all you power is off before messing with that.

Have you checked the circuit breakers under the mirrored doors, near the floor, by the entrance door?
Check both the flip switches and the solid fuses.

You should have a GFCI reset button on the outlet. Try pushing that button in the center of the receptacle. Otherwise the 3055 has a separarte GFCI switch in the circuit box under the mirrored doors right by your entrance door. Hope this helps.

Check the outlet by the stove and see if it has power,if not then go back like the guys said to the gfi in bath room or breaker. If you do have it there check for bad conection in both outlets...this also feeds the outside outlet, check it.

3055RL Electrical

I have had this problem, but each time mine was a tripped breaker.
Let me tell you something goofy about the wiring on my trailer.
I have had the breaker trip that feeds the receptacle above the sink
a few times when using a toaster because it also feeds the one by the
vent-hood that is used for the coffee pot. It also feeds the receptacle by
the bathroom sink where the GFCI is located. To my surprise it also feeds the
receptacle outside by the basement door!!!!!
I was cooking on my griddle outside at the time.
Holey Moley!!! Do you think they could have put a couple more of our
MOST USED RECEPTACLES on the SAME 15amp BREAKER!!!!!
Give Me a Break...(excuse the pun).
I may switch with the 20amp in the breaker box
that is there for the front AC because I don't have one.

cgunn, switching breakers would be a mistake. The breaker is in place to protect the wire. In the case of your wires from the 15 amp breaker you have no. 14 wire (white). A 15 amp breaker will protect that. The 20 amp breaker is in place to protect no. 12 wire (yellow). Have you checked any home wiring? You most likely will find one GCFI protecting more than one bathroom, garage, if attatched and outdoor rectptacles. Same as your RV.

Peace

Charlie, one more thing. I have added an extra 20 amp, GCFI protected circuit with two dedicated receptacles, in the kitchen. No more problems.

|goy my plug working. It was a plug box ouside by the door, also a junction box.
They feed 3 plugs from there and two wires were off.
Heartland would not send a wiring diagram and we traced it back.
Put in North American type plug and all working fine.
Keep smilin

Hi RoLintwo,

Thanks for the update. I also have a 3055 and had no idea the outside plug was connected to the GFI plug and the others also. Maybe now if I have a problem I will REMEMBER to check there also.... kinda doubtful.. but maybe..
