A Different Battery...

Is anyone here using lead crystal batteries for their battery bank....if so, how do you like them? Pros/Cons?

I find it interesting that these are advertised as being OK to run down to within 20% capacity compared to the rule of thumb of 50%.

Our application will be for serious self-sustaining boondocking rather than using the umbilical cord as most RVers do. TIA.

Thanks for posting, but it seems to be a remake of the AGM battery and when run down it won't supply the 12 volts necessary to run equipment.

Upon reading more links, doesn't look like the little guy would have much chance obtaining these....let alone not being distributed in the US.

May just be an interesting concept to us in the states for a few years?
