We’ve used these blocks ever since we got our trailer (May 2019) and have to say we are pleased with them.
First, they come six to a package and are engineered to fit the round plates of the Lippert hydraulic lift system. I’m sure they fit others but this is what I have and can talk about. They are about 12” tall and very sturdy. They have magnets on to so you can attach them to the flat plates which makes it easier to line up. Bright orange red color makes them hard to miss when packing.
In the 64 days we’ve camped so far, we only had one occasion that we could get the blocks to fit under the rearmost lifts and decided not to use them at all. With the blocks, since the hydraulics don’t move as much, the automatic leveling is very quick, I can usually connect the power cord or the water line while this is going on.
While the trailer did sink these part way into the ground one time, they generally only leave a ring imprint on the ground that seems to go away quickly (at our resort, a couple of days). We’ve used them on gravel and some uneven terrain without issue though the pads seem to tilt? a little to compensate.
Yes, they take up some storage room and sometimes take a bit of finagling to fit under the pads, overall we really like them and are happy to use them.
We got these with our membership plan through Andersen.
