AC and heater

I have a 2017 Oakmont 345RS. This morning it was about 38 degrees outside. I turned on the heater with the Dometic thermostat. I adjusted the temperature to 72 degrees. The heater started and the AC turned on blowing cold air. I turned off the heater with the Dometic thermostat and the heater and AC turned off. I let it sit for a minute ant turned on the heat again. Same results. Can someone tell me what's going on?

Sounds like you might have the heat strip coming on.
Just the guess that I had

Your thermostat FAN setting is on HIGH or LOW. Change it to AUTO and the A/C blower will not run along with the furnace.
