AC blowing out "FOG"

I noticed a "fogginess" in our RV. We had noticed that the BR AC unit was making noise before and so we turned it off and opened all the windows to air out the RV. My husband thought the fog was maybe the freon coming out. The AC stopped blowing cold after this happened. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to repair it? We have a 2016 Newport Landmark.

If the rig was cold, and the A/C was running and you opened the windows, the moist hot air from outside would condense when it meets the cool inside air and could produce the fog.

But if after shutting the A/C off, it then failed to run correctly, maybe it was freon. If so, you'll need a new A/C unit.
