After receiving some suggestions regarding the odor coming from our second bedroom AC, I am hoping maybe the factory can help. This odor comes from the AC even when it is in fan mode only. Often the odor will abate with time but the rv is all smelled up by that time. We have checked the toilet, the washer drain, the vent caps in the kitchen and bathroom, and are still unable to locate the source of the problem. We are hoping the factory has had this situation before and can give us an answer.
Admin: Steve, please contact Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032. Tell them what is going on. Perhaps they have heard of this before. My sense is that you will need to visit a dealer or service center to have the AC cover removed for an AC inspection. This may be the only way to get to the root cause. Jim Beletti
