Adco RV Cover

I am new to this forum in that I've never posted anything before. Have a Greystone 27RK, considering getting an Adco Cover but I am worried that the spouts that direct water off the side of the unit off the roof will puncture/damage the cover. Am I right? What recommendations/optiions do you have? Thanks.

I took peices of those foam noodles that you can buy at WalMart and attached them to any sharp corners or objects. Works great and cheap.
