Adding Extend/Retract Switch

My sister purchased a Cougar 5th Wheel (Yea...tried to get them to Heartland) and it came with electric landing gear (4 legs).

The controller is LCI, which looks just like mine, except I have hydraulic landing gear.

Now the issue...there is no switch on the outside (normally above cargo door) to control the front legs. They have to keep going back to the basement area and try to look at the height of the pin when hitching. Not the best case for hooking up.

Anyone know if you can add a switch to the electric LCI controller?

Here is a link to a landing gear switch and wiring kit: http://www.amazon.com/Stromberg-Carlson-LG-145236-Rated-Switch/dp/B004LF75JO .
There are 3 major manufacturers of the landing gear: Venture, Stroberg-Carlson, and Domar. Lippert uses Venture. You SHOULD be able to wire this in paralell with the controller wiring to the motor, but if the controller uses solid state drivers instead of relays, you may fry components in the controller. If you don't understand these terms, it would be best to consult an RV repair professional.
