Air mattress replacement

Our air mattress worked fine for a year and a half (used a few times per month). Now it will not hold air. Although it is very comfortable, I am disappointed with the longevity.

What are my options? Can a regular sleeper sofa mattress be used?

Can I order a replacement air mattress thru Heartland?

DH has a gallon of tire sealant and wants to experiment. Crazy??

I did find a small hole on the top of the mattress.

We had a similar problem and sent Flair Interiors photos of the hole in the mattress and they replaced the mattress even though we were out of warranty they were really great to work with. However, the replacement developed a hole after about 6 months, but good news I found a patch kit at a local sporting goods store that was made for patching fishing waders and it worked great. I like the air mattress so well we have now replaced the mattress in the bedroom with an air mattress I sleep much better on this than what came with our BH.

WE had a similar problem and patched it with a automotive tire patch.
