What ever happened to the "All American Hitch" by LCI? That was supposed to be a real towing problem solver but apparently didn't pan out

So far as I can tell the flex Air is not yet for sale. Anyone know different?

I tried to put money down on one of these. Luckily he would not accept my money. Found out later that it is a piece of chunk. Like Jay says ask Dave he had all kinds of problems with it. I know a guy that pulled a Mobile Suite with it. All cells collapsed on him. I saw it. I suppose there is always a chance that they worked out their problems if they are still making them.
I tried to purchase one directly from Lippert last week and they are not selling them yet (even to Heartland). So I'd say it's a safe bet they are not available yet.

I do not believe an air ride pin box will solve that chucking problem directly. The Mor/Ryde pin box is specifically designed to address this particular issue. Lippert's new Flex Air pin box combines both the front/back addressed by things like the Mor/Ryde and the roto flex in combination of the bounce comfort offered by an air pin box. If the only complaint you have is the start/stop I would personally look at the Mor/Ryde option to address that.

You shouldn't be getting any "slamming from the hitch". What hitch are you using?
I have the Reese 18k signature series. This is the type that locks into the pucks in the bed.

I saw a number of people at the rally in Goshen this year had the Flex air pinbox installed.
I wonder if they just have not had enough miles on them to really comment or they just paid too much for a pin box that did not solve the problem as they hoped.

I'm one of those who had the Flex-air installed while at the rally this year. A number of people asked me how I liked it, but with only 2 1/2 miles of experience pulling it (from Lippert back to the fairgrounds), I really couldn't answer them.
Well, now that I have about 1,500 mile on it, I can say I like it. My old camper had the tri-glide pin box and I liked it. The new Flex-air performs about the same as the Tri-glide but without the mess and hassle of having to lube 9 different points. It remains to be seen how this new Flex-air will hold up but so far I'm happy with it. I do think it improved my ride in the truck over the Mor-Ryde pin box that came with the rig when we bought it.

Let me know what you think after you've pulled it a few miles. Like I said, mine has improved the ride for us.
