Anyone having issues with their roof A/C?

We just purchased a new 2022 Heartland Pioneer Trailblazer SS171 in May. We have not even been able to use it yet since it has been back to the dealer a few times. First issue was slide seals improperly installed which resulted in water intrusion. The leak ruined our dinette table. Just got it back from dealer and a day later took it back to the dealer because the A/C does not work. They are claiming there have been many A/C and refrigerator issues and are trying to figure out what is wrong with the A/C. This should not be happening to a new travel trailer. About to make second loan payment already and it has been in for warranty repairs for almost as long as we have owned it. Tried to reach out to Heartland but so far no response.

During our PDI it was about 50 degrees outside. We did turn it on and it blew cold air so assumed it worked ok. We have not taken it out on any trips yet because a couple weeks after we brought it home we found a significant slide leak and took it back to the dealer and it was there for a few weeks for warranty repair. We picked it up last week and now that it is hot out we were prepping it for sour first trip this weekend. This is when we discovered that in fact the A/C is not working properly, so we immediately took it back to the dealer. Yesterday the dealer said our trailer along with several others are having the same issue with the A/C so they are trying to use conversion kits for a different brand of A/C but can’t get them to work. Hoping they figure it out before our upcoming 3500 mile road trip. So frustrating to have these issues with a brand new travel trailer and not a good introduction to the RV world for first time RV owners!

Keep calling HL, be polite (I know this may be hard w/ a brand new rig), have VIN # ready and tell home what's going on and have a big trip planned. Ask them too if they can arrange to have a mobile mechanic look at/fix it while on the road?

What brand of A/C? Does the fan work on it? Compressor not coming on? Power to it? Were you trying to use it while at home? If so, what kind of power source did you have it plugged into? If it's still at dealer and your trip is soon, chances are they will have it for sometime before it's fixed, so might as well use it. Did dealer try it while you were there the 2nd time? Bad wall thermostat? Shoot, could even be wire wrong from factory at T-stat.
