Asheville NC. TRIP

Can anyone recommend a good campground around Asheville NC. Thanks for any info.

Check out Creekwood Farms RV Park in Waynesville,NC. www.creekwoodfarmrv.com. We camped there 2 weekends ago. It is a very nice park. About 30 minutes or so from Asheville.Also near Maggie Valley. I don't remember the exit,but it is located just off I-40. They accept Good Sam and other discounts.Pride RV Resort is located next door. Another nice cg near Asheville is Campfire Lodgings, www.campfirelodgings.com. Hope this helps.

x2 on Campfire Lodgings. The first sites you come to on the right have a wonderful overlook. Haven't stayed there, but did visit someone while they were camped there.

We have stayed at Bear Creek RV Park which is right off I-40 near the Biltmore House. Nothing fancy but ez on, ez off. The website is www.ashevillebearcreek.com/. There is also another campground on I-26 near Hendersonville but I do not know the name - sorry.
