ATF: Bighorn - yellow step light

Under the entrance steps is a yellow light. How do you turn that light on and off?

What year and model is your Bighorn?
If it is a new one then the switch for the stair light will be on the remote.
If it is older there there should be a switch near the door about a foot above the floor.
