ATF: Cyclone - Adding a window

We love our 4000HD cyclone. Would we be able to have a window added on the Drivers side bedroom slide above the bed by your technicians. I know that there is something about cutting the hole, then taking the cut out and using that to make an exact frame for that opening. I remember reading about that somewhere.

While Heartland does have a Service Center in Elkhart, their focus is primarily on warranty repairs that exceed the capability of local dealerships.

In general, structural modifications would require engineering analysis to ensure they won't cause problems down the road. Heartland keeps their engineers pretty busy on turning out new features and models, so I wouldn't expect support in this area.

But I think at least one other owner has looked into adding a bedroom window. Perhaps he'll see this thread and share what he's done.
