ATF: Cyclone - garage bed adjustment

I would like to know if the top double bed in the garage can be lowered more than from the factory. Is it as simple as removing the "bed stops", drilling new holes in the rails and inserting the 4 pins? What weight will the pins support?

Don't quote me but if you download the manual http://www.happijac.com/images/pdfs/Bed-Lift User Manual2012.pdf for the bed it shows the "blocks" that are screwed to the bed frame that stop the bed sliders against the track. There are many pre punched locations for the bed blocks to go in. I haven't moved mine but I imagine you would want to thread the holes that are pre punched and possibly the bolts will do this for you if they have self tapping threads on them.
