ATF: Mallard - TV Mounting

My wife and I recently purchased the Mallard IDM231. I would like to mount a TV to the outside wall adjacent to the TV connections. The many comments here suggest that there may be a mounting plate behind the wall with a sticker or to push on the wall trying to located the frame. The wall is to stiff for that and there is no sticker. I assume that Heartland can comment one way or the other whether a mounting plate exists and the suggested fasteners. I hesitate to drill holes looking for studs/frames to determine what is already likely known. Suggested mounting techniques also greatly appreciated.

All the mounting board discussions I've seen relate to mounting on interior walls.

Dan...thanks. Guess I was not that clear. What I meant was the inside (interior) of an outside wall. Sorry I didn't mean to imply on the exterior.
