Auto Leveling system

Hi everyone

Thank you for all your replies and information. Sounds good, Auto Level Up system now on order.

Ken and Kathy, you mentioned a Steadyfast system.
Did you install the system yourself?
Were there any problems installing it to the Auto Level up system?
If only staying overnight and you don't want to unhitch, do you manually control the auto level system at all 6 points and does this then activate the Steadyfast system for stability without unhitching?

Yes, we installed it ourselves. The only mod we had to make was we had to have the brackets welded to the "feet" of the legs involved...took a welder 15 minutes and cost very little.

Steadyfast is permanently attached and requires no more than tightening/loosening the wingnuts....it goes up and down with the legs no matter if you use Level-up automatically or manually...very simple. When we stay hitched we DO operate the Level-up manually, as usually you cannot get exactly level...don't want to confuse the "brain" of the system. Also we don't usually "lock" the steadyfast when we're still hooked to the truck...don't worry that much about level/movement on a quick overnight stop...
