Awning question.. My awning started rolling in backwards

I just tried to retract my awning and noticed that somehow it’s rolling up backwards, in other words I have to push extend to retract it and retract to extend it. How do I fix this?

When you extended the awning did you possibly over extend it?
To the point that it was rolling up?

Been down that road. You are not the first, Some how our awning ended up the same way as your awning. We just put it back out to the point where it is in the normal "out" position then brought it back in with the "retract" button.

I tried doing that but it’s like somehow it’s reversed. It won’t roll up with the retract button

Observe what the awning is doing when you push the button.
