Bad Voltage

It has taken me this long to get back about the problem. Sad to say, while in Fl, my husband suddenly passed away. Thanks to many friends, I got the RV packed up and back to Tx. It has taken he some time to get it into a shop to have the problem looked at. They called me yesterday and believe they found the problem. They took the auto power cord out and found 3 lose wires and also said it wasn't grounded properly. They said it was paint on paint?! Not sure what that means but at least they believe they found it. I will have to put it up for sale now but want to make sure everything is in good working order.
