Banks performance enhancement on Duramax

After upgrading our fiver to a 2015 3875 FB and travelling south to FL this winter, I decided that although my 2002 3500 handled things fine, I needed some improvements.

I just finished the install of the Power Pack system from Banks Engineering. I deleted the intercooler at this time, but went with the 4" exhaust, the Ram Air intake, Big Head wastegate actuator, exhaust brake, and Econominder w/ IQ display.

I struggled a bit with a good seal at the head pipe and turbo exhaust, but finally succeeded. Tested all today and so far all is good. No white knuckle hot brake scares for this guy, and I sure don't want to be that guy slowing everybody up running the incline on the mountain. Pics shortly.

I did the same kit on my 02 F350 years ago except for the intake. I went with an AFE setup instead. I also did a Mishimoto intercooler and radiator, FASS, and a bigger trans pan. I upgraded the turbo to an ATS, Diesel Site HPOP and some hybrid injectors, chipped it and left it alone after that. Made that pick up so fun to drive. Curious why you deleted the intercooler?

After talking it over with Banks, the intercooler was a big ticket item and easy to add later if I wanted. Only had so much $ ro spend right now.

Sounds like he stayed with his stock intercooler and not deleted it. He deleted it from the package Banks sells. Just a wrong choice of terms.
