We have a Heartland 31RLSS which is 8,500 pounds. I am planning on ordering the Barker VIP 3500 but now my question is should I get 18 in stem or 24 inch?

What brand trailer is it? I have the Husky Brute 4500 with adjustable drop leg. On my previous SOB I had an Ultra-Fab 3500 also with Adjustable drop leg. Is there an adjustable version of the Barker? My North Trail is quite low but other brands ride high.

I had a 2011 NT 26LRSS and used the Barker VIP 3500 for two and a half years and 16 k miles (lots of set ups) and I bought the longest one I could because several places I camped were on a slope and the front had to be jacked up quite a bit to achieve level. I would go with the longer one. JMHO

North Trails are notoriously low so you could go with the shorter jack, but extra extension never hurt. I'd rather be looking at it then looking for it. Both of my jacks were 18" plus 6" for the adjustable drop leg.
