I just purchased a 2011 Cyclone HD 3814. Just took it out the first time and have found a leak at the bottom of the bedroom slide. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi mainace,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. There are a lot of friendly and helpful folks here and I'm sure you'll get some advice on tracking down the leak.

Check and be sure the rubber moldings are pointing to the outside. Sometimes they don't flip like they should. If they are turned in it would allow a leak.

A friend of mine just used my old awning rod to "flip" all of the gasket pn his new SOB. Every one of the slides had at least one side of the gasket turned to the inside. Once he turned them, no more leaks.

We had this issue too recently in a heavy storm in Tn. I attributed it to parking for the night off kilter. The bedroom slide isn't sloped as much as the main slide. I suspect you have to be really close to level for it not to work it's way back in during a heavy downpour. Through a level on the slide when it's extended and see if you have enough slope on it. It might not be seating itself right. Just a quick thought...

Mine's been fine every since.
