BH 2018 heat pump option available?

Just curious if there is an option available to have the ACs upgraded to heat pump versions?

We ordered just last week and I didn't even consider it as an possibility.

Any one know?

They can't be "upgraded" as in retrofitted to my knowledge. But if your order was just placed, there's a strong chance the dealer can put in a change order and have the factory confirm back to him.

@jbeletti- thanks. Yeah, that's my hope... A change order to have them installed instead of the stnd AC.

Does anyone have them? Success? Failure? I know the furnace need to be run to keep the tanks from freezing but is the heat pump/AC unit good to 38? 45? I'd love to know what model the factory would install so I can research more

Brad - I have 2 of them and have had them in many coaches. Never any trouble for me. They work down to about 40F.

@jbeletti- thanks again. How does the integration with the thermostat work out? Are you simply setting cool to 72 and the heat pump takes over?

The thermostats have a mode button. Press mode until HP appears. Then set to desired temp.
