We are currently staying at the Oasis RV Park in La Marque, Tx. This park is located behind Ron Hoover's RV&Marine Sales and Service. They are currently undergoing big changes here. The Marine division (boat sales, service and parts) have moved to a new location in Galveston, Tx. The area here where they stored the boats took up quite a few RV spots so moving the boats to Galveston freed up those spots. Also the RV and Boat sales office (front building) has been gutted and is in the process of being remodeled to house a Rally Hall, Games (pool table etc), kitchen, laundry for the RV Park. There is also a beautiful walk-in swimming pool here. The RV Sales and RV Parts sales is in a much smaller area of the front building. They will still be selling RV's here and offering RV service at the RV site but now RV Rallies, and the RVers will have a much nicer experience here. The laundry is already opened and the remodel is making great progress. We are working here at Oasis RV Park getting the RV sitemap together for them since they do not have one. I just wanted to pass along this information (we don't make anything off of the referrals) so those that are going to be traveling to south Texas this year and need to get their RV serviced may want to swing by Ron Hoover's Oasis RV Park (exit 10 southbound on Interstate 45 south of Houston just north of Galveston). By the way there is a nice fishing county park (Highland Bayou Park) right behind the Oasis RV Park if you like to fish (both saltwater and fresh water).
