Bike rack on rear tray?

I have a 25LRSS with a rear bumper fold down tray (Factory installed) I am looking for advice on putting a bile rack on it or dont? I am hesitant to use it due to the low clearance with the spare tire mounted on the rack. Any suggestions for a good or better idea. Thanks

I had four bikes on mine with room to spare a couple weeks ago. What about it makes you not want to use it?

I had the slide-out rear bumper on my 2013 Trail Runner and it was such a major PITA to tie up and untie the bikes from the rack that I just quit taking the bikes since all they did was go along for the ride.

It was much easier to just put them inside the trailer for the ride when we wanted to take them...

Notice the common denominator in these photos...at the campground...bikes still on the rack!

My experience exactly! Now I make sure to load the truck bed as flat as I can so I can just lay the bikes on top.
