I'm with 'ya, Ann . . .

I'm more of a whiskey fan . . . but a snifter of brandy once in awhile will grow hair on your knuckles!

Scotch tastes like paint thinner to me. Ugh

Scotch is an acquired taste! Once you get use to it, wow, no more headaches, hangovers and it doesn't put the weight on as beer!
When I got back stateside my Colonel & I went out every weekend at Ft Carson and I was only allowed to drink scotch...Growing up
in Colo and on Coors, that was hard to do!! His comment, Officers are Gentlemen and Gentlemen drink Scotch!
